The Change We Need
2nd Corinthians 4:16
“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.”
Change is a good thing. Change is necessary. Change brings us to the next glory and keeps us from becoming stagnant. It is part of the renewal process the above scripture talks about, and how can we be renewed if we don’t change?
The two biggest enemies to change are fear and comfort. When we stay in one place for too long, even if that place is a hell to us, we can become comfortable and ultimately fear moving on. During this time, we may also have friends and family who are stuck themselves, telling us to stay where we are.
Here is my encouragement to you today. Listen to Holy Spirit and make sure you are in the place he wants you. Only move when he says to move. Otherwise, buy up everything you can in that place until the next step is revealed. Don’t let fear and comfort rob you of purpose. Have a great week!
