Who is it That You Serve
Matthew 5:16
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven”
When you go throughout your day, whose attention are you getting? When you meet strangers or interact with co-workers, what message are you sending? Do they view you as just another person like everyone else, or are they asking the question, “Who is it that you serve?” The truth is, every moment of our day, every word, and every action should point toward Yahweh. And as we have learned recently, we shouldn’t have to tell people we serve Yahweh. They should observe how we live and want to know more. They should see how we respond to different situations and then want to ask us questions.
So as you start your day, consider who it is you serve. Remember, people are watching how you act. Be a demonstration to those around you. Let them see Yahweh through you, so they in turn will ask who it is you serve and want to pursue the truth you have already discovered!
