Choose The Best
I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws. Psalm 119:30
Today I considered the testimonies of my friends, as well as my own. These are powerful, living moments that encourage, inspire, and teach others. They’re a connection between Heaven and Earth that speak of what Yahweh continues to do today, the ongoing John 21:26, which that we are a part of the work of Christ that is beyond what has been written. We please Yahweh as we live our lives with passion, integrity, and maturity. He is faithful, and when we choose Him, we become more and more like Him, sharing His faithfulness to the world.
I love the simplicity and the profound quality of this verse. When we choose, it means that we have options. Yahweh gives us free will to choose whatsoever we will, and to live out the fruit of those choices. To say, “I have chosen the way of faithfulness,” means that when you are faced with all of the trees in the garden that may try to call to you, you choose Him. One definition of choice is “of very good quality.” Let your choices be quality! Be conscious and purposeful as you choose internally and outwardly who, and what, your heart is set on today. Choose choice. Choose the very best for you, who are His very best!
