He is Your Hiding Place
“You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.” Psalm 32:7
This week, the phrase “safe place” has come up many times for me. When we feel safe, there is not fear. We can be open, vulnerable, and free to explore. Yahweh is a safe place for each of us, because He knows His creation better than anyone. He knows what He deposited in you, and He knows your heart and the factors in your life. He is gracious, encouraging, and with Holy Spirit, He attends to areas of need in your life. He is all knowing, so you don’t need to hide anything form Him; like the verse says, He is your hiding place.
I encourage you to tap into this part of Yahweh today. Have a vulnerable conversation with Him, and let Him speak openly back to you. Know that you can move in the earth with confidence, having security in His word over you. Further, you can demonstrate what it is to be a safe place for those you have the opportunity to be in relationship with or minister to. When your spouse, child, or friend entrusts something to you, let your spirit lead in showing you how to be a place of safety for them. In this, you represent the example of Christ in the earth.
