Lean Into Him

The Rock of Central Florida   -

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. Prov. 3:5-6

Trust is such an interesting term for the believer inasmuch that when we think we apply it correctly toward the Father, we generally try to tell Him how we’re NOT going to interfere with the results. By putting conditions on this trust, we’ve already stated that we DON’T trust Him! It sounds kind of confusing, but we need to understand that Yahweh trusts us first, and then we learn to trust Him. That almost always means that the situation is NOT going to look like we are used to because we are continuing to try to “help” Him; instead we should just trust.
Our own understanding can be a part of the Father’s understanding, but we need to be satisfied with what He says… THAT builds trust, not only with Him, but any relationships we have here on the earth. Remember, today as you go about, lean into Him, especially when you want to try to move or speak on your own in the moment. That “pause” before responding will be the indicator that Holy Spirit is ready and able to show you the next move to make.
