Write it Down
“These are the wise sayings of Solomon, David’s son, Israel’s king— Written down so we’ll know how to live well and right, to understand what life means and where it’s going.” Proverbs 1:1-2
I think one of the key things in this scripture that’s overlooked is that someone (we’re pretty sure it was Solomon) took the time to actually write down these proverbs. If he hadn’t, they would have been lost to time, probably dying when he did. In the hectic day-to-day, it can be a challenge to do something tangible for the Kingdom outside of meeting in a church building. So why not take a cue from one of the wisest people alive? Today, take five minutes to write something down that’s Holy Spirit inspired. And I don’t mean ‘make it sound fancy and extra holy and biblical.’ If that’s what comes out, great, but be yourself and write something that could only come out of you. Make the Kingdom a little more tangible in the Earth (even if you have to text it to yourself).
Yahweh has something for you today. Write it down so you’ll know how to live it well and right.
