Bountiful Fruit
Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity, and honor. Proverbs 21:2
When I think of people who have pursued righteousness and love of Yahweh and His calling, there are no greater examples than Steve and Kim Parker! They have set Yahweh first in the direction of their lives, always giving His word priority and, in doing so, they find life, prosperity, and honor. I love the movement of this verse: it doesn’t say that these blessings find you, but that in your pursuit of Yahweh, you find them as the fruit of the pursuit. As Steve and Kim continually seek Yahweh’s character and way, they find greater truth, depth, and goodness. Where others might see death, they see and experience life, empowerment, and opportunity. By their pursuit, they gain Heaven’s perspective and blessing. They prosper naturally and spiritually! Not only do they gain honor from their community, but they receive it from Heaven as well! Again and again, they will find they have life, prosperity, and honor. It is bountiful fruit indeed!
As a part of the body of The Rock of Central Florida, we set aside time this week to remember the journey they’ve taken (and are still on), the position of obedience they occupy, and strike hands with Heaven to honor them! We love you, Steve and Kim!
