Don’t Beat Yourself Up
“And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” James 3:18
This past week, I had the opportunity to walk out the very thing we have been talking about.. Peace. Well, I can safely say I messed up. It was one of those days at work that started fine but by the end, had spiraled completely out of control. It was literally like a movie. I had several employees in front of me needing my attention, customers complaining, another employee that wasn’t even there texting me complaining about something else. The only thing that could have completed this hilarious movie was for something to burst into flames (which thankfully did not happen).
Needless to say, I was so far outside my peace, I was losing my cool and not responding correctly. I left work, repented to Yahweh, and came back the next day in peace and absolutely owned the day!
Here is my encouragement for the week. If you find yourself outside of your peace, don’t beat yourself up. Simply repent, move on, and reap a harvest of righteousness.
