Guilty by Association
“Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character.’” 1 Corinthians 15:33
It’s hard when we have the best intentions and are still somehow guilty by association. Perhaps our intentions were to help the people we were associated with, but when seen by others we look no different.
Often times our Visionary has said, “Don’t go look for the lost sheep if it’s not baa’ing.” In other words, if someone within your influence wants help or wants to change, they will tell you. Don’t be guilty by association for the sake of the sheep that wasn’t baa’ing.
I encourage you today to consider whose company you allow yourself to be in and to consider the places you allow yourself to be in. It doesn’t matter what your intentions are, or how strong you think you are in your faith and relationship with God – bad company corrupts good character.
