Double The Supply
And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Philippians 4:19-20
This morning I am sitting and looking out at the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean in Ft. Lauderdale. One of the things about this place that grabs my attention are the ships that sit just off the coast. They are supply ships that carry almost anything you can imagine. Some may carry food, replacement parts, household items, personal or professional goods, etc. Things you need for various areas of your life are most likely sitting on one of these ships, right now.
In this place there are usually two or three vessels sitting and waiting for a space to open up and come into port to unload their cargo. This time, there are double. Six to seven ships are continually sitting out in the ocean, right now, and when one heads into the port, another will come and take its place, sitting and waiting for its turn. As I watched the other day, I witnessed one of the ships heading into the channel on its way into the port. A berth opened, and the supplies would be unloaded. There are many factors that go into when these ships can enter, and they can sit in the waters for days, but not this time. This time, they are moving at a steady pace, and as soon as one comes in it seems as though another takes its place in the water.
Yahweh God is the source of our supply, and there is never a shortage! The supply coming in is from these open waters. He WILL liberally supply every need…. if we are in alignment with Him. All that we need in every circumstance, in every area, both naturally and spiritually is provided “according to His riches in glory in Christ”. It is a promise that His glory will be reflected in the son who is in proper relationship with Him, and we turn and give all glory back to Him. It is a promise that every need is met, and the supply of heaven has been made available to you.
But, it does not stop there……
What is coming? His supply is doubled, and it is moving quickly. Be ready, be willing because what is coming is greater than you can imagine, exceedingly, abundantly more. You are multifaceted, and He has the supply for every area of your life, every function, every assignment and task that He has given you. Do not limit the Father, and do not limit what He is bringing for you.
