Remember
“But I will remember for them the covenant with their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, so that I might be their God. I am the Lord.’” Leviticus 26:45
This week, I met with a friend, and we shared our testimonies. I found that rehearsing life experiences together, sharing challenges and joys together, was so encouraging to me. I invite you to take the time today to reflect on your testimony, reminding yourself of our God’s goodness and character. As this verse notes, Yahweh remembers on your behalf so that He can have relationship with you. Even if you are looking in another direction, He remembers His own covenants and promises.
So, turn your gaze today to what He has done and what He has said, and allow that to shape your day. Let it be present in your thoughts for today and visions for tomorrow. As you look, you will find layer after layer of His faithfulness. He won’t have been present in just a few areas, but in so many. Write some of these down for yourself. Share something with another. And be sure to talk to Him about these things too. Thank Him and bless Him by remembering!
