Bless The Lord

The Rock of Central Florida   -

“I will bless The Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips. Glorify Yahweh with me. Let us exalt His name together! Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered in shame.” Psalm 34: 1, 3 & 5

Bless The Lord at all times! Worship isn’t a performance report for a job well done but an expression of honor for Him in every circumstance! We don’t grade Yahweh based on the outcome of a situation, or how something feels in the moment, but we recognize His goodness is always present!

So, together, let us GLORIFY Yahweh – that is, light up brilliantly!

The verse says that those who do so become radiant! That means that when we glorify Him, it’s reflected back on us. It means from glory to glory! This radiance is evident on our faces and removes shame. He is a reciprocal God: we are in Him, and He is in us.

In fact, the word “faces” in this verse in Hebrew is panim. It is intended to connect to the Hebrew word pnim, meaning inside. This means that what is inside of you is reflected on your face. This reflected glory isn’t self-serving but is the fruit of internal relationship with Yahweh. Don’t be ashamed of that glory! Let its light cast shame away and KNOW that His mark upon you is to shine brilliantly in the earth.

Let us glorify Yahweh together! He is worthy to be praised!
