Embracing Perspective
Have you ever had a hard time seeing yourself the way others see you? How do you shift your perspective to see yourself the way that others see you…how do you shift your perspective to see yourself the way Yahweh sees you?
“For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.” Psalm 139:13-14
Yahweh created you intentionally, on purpose, and with a purpose. He gave you a gift and many talents. Some in which you know of, and some that Yahweh will use people in your life to call that gift out of you because they see it in you whether you see it or not. When Yahweh uses people to speak words of life to you, will your perspective be ready to receive?
Perspective is the way we see what’s happening around us. Our perspective shapes us, the way we think, how we engage with others, and how we see ourselves. Changing our perspective to match how Yahweh sees us sets us on a new road that trusts more, dares more, loves more, lives more, and believes more.
Changing the way we see ourselves is all about growing and “BECOMING” who Yahweh has called us to be. Embrace the journey of today. Change your perspective to match the one who created you! Perspective creates the opportunity in us to grow and to step out. It can hinder us or it can make us soar.
