What Does This Cost Me

The Rock of Central Florida   -

1st Corinthians 16:2
“On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come.”

This week, in every choice you make, I want you to ask yourself, “what does this cost me?” I believe that anything worth doing comes at a cost. It takes an investment, and it takes risk. Does this mean that we become reckless with our actions? Absolutely not! Yahweh is here to direct us and lead us where we should go. However, He requires us to have some “skin in the game.” Our choices have to carry weight. It doesn’t mean that you are burdened by this weight, but it does mean that you are a full, faithful participant in the abundance Yahweh has for you.
Start your day by counting the cost. Listen to Yahweh and ask Him to show you the path that requires something of you. It may be uncomfortable, but the seed you sow will produce lasting fruit. This fruit will bring forth future harvests as you continue to plant out of the abundance.
