The Truth Does Not Need Defending
John 14:17
“Even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.”
Please do not misinterpret the title here. At first glance, it may appear that I am saying to not stand up for the truth. I AM NOT! Let me start here. The world today does not recognize the truth of Yahweh. Everyone has what they consider their own truth, and they make decisions based on whatever they perceive that to be. We, as sons, are called to speak the truth. This means that what Yahweh speaks, we speak. It’s not a debate, nor is it a topic that you research, so that you can have all of your talking points lined up to argue with people.
You simply speak the truth. You make it direct, and you do not water it down. You may hurt feelings, but this cannot be a consideration when speaking it.
Zechariah 8:16
“These are the things that you shall do: Speak the truth to one another; render in your gates judgments that are true and make for peace;”
Start your day in the truth and walk it out. Yahweh will guide you and give you the words to speak. You won’t need to add or take away.
