Lean In
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Phil.4:8. (ESV)
This verse has a tendency for Believers to try to practice in their own strength, and not lean into The Father so that these “things” become a way of life for them. The reality of it is that these virtues are ONLY possible with a right relationship with Yahweh and because they represent Him and who He is, drawing nearer to Him brings out these virtues. If you are frustrated with trying to “think on these things”, pause and think on Him. It will change your situation and your outlook on life.
Consider today, as you are going about your business, leaning into Yahweh and watch as He moves in every moment. The true and the beautiful will always prevail in Christ.
