Understanding Not Required
Psalm 143:10
“Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground!”
A simple word to start your day with. As Steve taught this past Sunday, obedience does NOT require our understanding. The promise that we have, according to the above passage, is that Yahweh will lead us on level ground. This means, He will always be faithful to put us in the right spot (when we do His will). We don’t have to worry about the path, because it has been made straight before us. Even if we think there is another way, Yahweh asks us to trust Him and obey. If we truly love Him, we will trust Him, whether it makes sense or not. Focus on your obedience this week, and make sure you are not trying to figure out God’s command before you do it. He’s got you!
