The Complete Work of Free People
John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”
This title may seem confusing but let me explain. I was thinking recently about how many people we know that are not accomplishing what they were created to do, simply because they are too busy battling their own minds. What I mean is there are people who let fear and anxiety take over every aspect of their life, and they end up making it their entire focus. It becomes a full time job, and nothing else can get done.
Imagine how much more we could accomplish as a people if all of us walked in complete freedom. Imagine our complete focus being on God’s purpose for our life. How much isn’t getting done, because we are too busy jumping over mental hurdles of fear and self doubt? This is not a rebuke but instead an encouragement to you!
Start your day by asking God to give you a clear mind. Don’t let 1,000 tiny battles stop you from doing what He created you to do. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. This is not a sign of weakness but strength. You are not alone, and great is the power that will come from sons who are completely free and who have their face set toward Yahweh, ready and willing to fulfill their purpose.
