Are You The Wind or Barely a Breeze?
John 3:8 “The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
Something that was said this past Sunday stood out to me. Steve was talking about how Yahweh created his sons and daughters to be a wonder, awe inspiring, and even terrifying, yet many of which are “barely a breeze.” This means that there are those that are sent to earth with enormous potential but don’t ever live up to it. They barely affect the world around them or change the atmosphere.
We also learned that we come into this world on time and on purpose. We are not accidents, and this knowledge frees us to accomplish what we were sent here to do. There are no “do overs.” We cannot tell Yahweh that this is not our time, and that we would like to do it a different way some other time. You get one chance, and you have the full support of the Father to live out your life with purpose.
So, start your day and be the wind you were created to be. Don’t be the little breeze that has no effect on what it touches. Rather, embrace the fact that Yahweh has placed you on this earth in His perfect timing to change it. He created you to disrupt and alter environments. When you walk into a room, you should shift the very culture of that room and not conform to it. Let’s change the earth!
