Achieve The Bigger
1 Corinthians 12:12 (ESV) 12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
As sons of Yahweh, we are a part of something greater and bigger than ourselves. He has given us a purpose, a dream, and a vision that, many times, is beyond what we can imagine. In it all, Yahweh has joined us with other sons to help each other“achieve the bigger.” He describes us as a body comprised of many, all working together. Each with a specific purpose, specific gifts, and specific roles, but all working in unison together. For as one may minister to the brokenhearted, another will lift others up in song, operating together to meet the purpose He has called us all to.
The value of being a part of something bigger than yourself is powerful! For example, in football, the quarterback gets all the glory (or blame) for how a team performs. The quarterback is the leader, but he is dependent on the other 10 players with him on the field. If no one blocks for him, he and the team fail. If no one catches the ball, he and the team fail. You get my point; it takes everyone for the team to be a success. This is the same principle in the Kingdom. We all must do our part faithfully, diligently, and passionately.
We are not intended to be lone rangers or a one-person church, but a part of a body. We need one another. So, as you start your day, consider your own life, your place, and your participation in Yahweh’s body. Are you active? Are you pursuing your purpose? Are you inviting others to be a part of your life? Remember, you are not in this alone, so be encouraged as we all work together as a body, to achieve the bigger.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 (ESV) 11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
