It’s Good To Be Free
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36
Today, I want to encourage you with the words of a toddler. My son recently turned three, and while he can say many words just right, sometimes the “th” sound gives him trouble. We were talking about his birthday this week and telling him it would be months before his next one. We said it would be good to be three for now, and he said, “It’s good to be free!”
We agreed. Isn’t it so good?
The grace we’ve been given by Yahweh through Christ is life changing. We can think expansively! We don’t have to hold ourselves to perfectionism! We can set aside judgments of ourselves and others that don’t align with how The Father receives His children. We are free. It’s not a temporary freedom – not a probation – not on a ticking clock – not determined by anyone else. Christ did the freeing, and He says you are free indeed – free and free again. So receive that in your mind and heart today. It’s good to be free!
