Your Purpose
“I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.” Psalm 57:2
Recently, my child really wanted to be held, and there came a point where I needed to set him down. I knew what would happen as soon as I started to move him toward the ground, and it did: crying out. I immediately heard a question in my spirit: when you set down your purpose, does it cry out?
Purpose could be a dream, task, or function that you believe Yahweh gave to you. There is life in your purpose, and it has a voice! What Yahweh has entrusted to you to accomplish is connected to who you are. Think of it as something that you nurture and that nurtures you. Stay engaged in what He has given to you so that if there is a time that you find yourself setting it down, you hear it cry out to you. Rather than letting go of what is unfinished or hard, encourage yourself to talk with Yahweh about His plans and purpose for you.
If there is something from Yahweh that still calls out to you, pick it up! Tend to it, and see it grow into maturity. Our God is good. He has purpose for you and vision for its fulfillment.
