Your Pursuit
Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor. Proverbs 21:21
Honor is such a precious gift a person can give to another. Honor is our reverence, our admiration, or great respect that we extend out. It is a principal Yahweh created, which enables us to extend humility while also identifying the special gifts and anointings in others. Much like trust, it is something that should be cherished, secure, and not flippantly given.
As we celebrate 24 years of The Rock of Central Florida, we give our honor, double honor, to Steve and Kim Parker!!! We extend our honor to you both for all you have done, are doing and will do. Your journey was not set on selfish ambition, but for the Glory of God, for the love of people, and fulfillment of purpose. “This land is our bread,” and it truly has been provision for you and everyone who has walked with you.
Through your pursuit of righteousness and truth, you have provided us a model to mirror, just like Paul did for the Corinthians. Through your kindness, integrity, grace, and love, you walk with us and help us when we fall short or lose our way. You both strive to make those around you better, not for material gain, but for the advancement of His Kingdom!
No one knows the trials and tribulations ministry leaders will face, but you have confronted your share. Yourcourage and determination have enabled you to overcome those challenges. It is a testament of your faith and obedience of Yahweh’s call on your life, and it hasemboldened those who are joined to you!
So, as we start today, we honor you, Steve and Kim Parker. We intentionally give this precious gift of honor to you, to thank you for everything you have sowed and continually give! Your pursuit of righteousness and kindness has led you to life, righteousness, and honor!!! We love you!
