Choose Truth
James 1:18
“Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.”
The truth can be uncomfortable at times, but it is always necessary. As the above scripture references, we were brought forth by the word of truth. We represent Yahweh’s very best and therefore must operate in truth at all times.
Have you ever known someone who was so comfortable with lying, that they almost seemed incapable of being honest even in the little things. Lying is almost second nature to them.
I want to be the opposite of that. I want to be so accustomed to the truth, that it becomes my natural response to every situation. We are firstfruits of creation. Let us always operate in truth, and be the example to the rest of creation.
