Out of Time
But when the right time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. Gal. 4:4
I hope that you took the time to listen again to Sam Shoaff’s message on “Out of Time ”. I’d like to offer some more insight to the “time” reference Sam made about Christ and when(on the timeline), He died for our sins. When I chose the above scripture reference, using The New Living Translation as the source, I was suddenly aware of when “the right time came…”, and where it fits on our timeline.
Most of us would agree that when we were taught about Christ and what He did for all mankind, we understood that He was sent by Yahweh about 2,000 years ago, on the timeline of man. But since Yahweh God sees EVERYTHING from everlasting to everlasting, or Olam, all things are happening now, as Sam referenced. The “right time” is NOT that earthly moment on our timeline where He was born, but it refers to the time each one of us receives Christ in our lives, and at that moment it becomes the right time!
This makes your salvation more personal because NOW you can see Christ as one dying for YOU alone! Today, go back and listen to Sam’s word and see if you can see your timeline, and understand that all of mankind has the same opportunity as you, AT THE RIGHT TIME! Now is the appointed time, take hold of it, if you haven’t already.
