Peacemakers

It has been my observation for some time now, the responsibility of believers to be peacemakers as a regular part of their daily walk. You may have never even thought about the effect you have on others as you are confronted with simple encounters as a part of everyday life. These interactions are a part of who we are as followers of Christ, and we don’t have to manufacture any situation because Yahweh has brought us into the moment to be the catalyst for peace.

Sometimes, we see a peacemaker as one who deals with major conflict such as war or uprising, when in reality the act of keeping the peace is a daily occurance in our lives. Think about this scripture today as you settle a dispute between your children, or offer to help someone who may be conflicted about a situation you may have the skill to settle. Peacemaking is a lifestyle and we are called as sons to take up the mantle and walk it out with those around us. Peace I leave with you my friends. See, it’s not a hard thing to speak peace to any situation.
