A Right Sound
“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.” 1st Corinthians 13:1
We as believers have the ability to affect the world around us with our sound. With Holy Spirit, a whisper can be just as impactful as a shout. Sound is so important in the kingdom and is something we should pay attention to.
Here is the question I pose to you this week: What kind of sound are you making? I would say that most of us can identify a “bad” sound. However, can we discern when or when not to use a “good” sound. Which brings me to my point.. A sound, while good, may not be what Yahweh is calling out of you. Now, don’t misunderstand what I am saying. I’m not saying that Yahweh wants to draw a bad sound out of you. I am simply saying that just because you call a sound good, does not mean it is right for the situation you are in.
I hope this makes sense, but I want to encourage you to not lean on what you know and engage what you are unfamiliar with. I promise that if you align your sound with His, it will always be good.
