Perspective
“As we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.” 2nd Corinthians 4:18
Recently a work associate of mine had a loss in their family. Without being too specific, for anyone that was on the outside looking in, this seemed like one of the most horrible, tragic events a family could go through. However, while I am sure there will be a grieving process they must go through, I was impressed by the approach they were taking. It was one of celebrating life and not death. Now understand, I do not believe this person serves Yahweh, but the response was something to admire.
This got me to thinking about perspective and how we as sons, have an enormous responsibility to embrace the correct perspective in every area of our lives. We should ALWAYS look for what Yahweh is seeing and saying in a situation. No matter what it looks like, having His perspective will always bring us to the exact place we were meant to be every time. Take a situation that could destroy, and turn it into something that builds. Will this ever be easy to do? Probably not, but we didn’t sign up for easy. Go forth this week with the intent to have the right perspective in every situation. People are watching and waiting to see what you do.
