You Have Something to Offer
“Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.” Matthew 5:42
As sons and daughters of Yahweh, we have a responsibility to help those in need. However, let us approach this from a different perspective. Think about the hundreds of interactions you probably have with people throughout your week, from long conversations to brief nods or smiles to strangers.
If you think about it, you are imparting a piece of yourself in every conversation and meeting you have. You are giving of yourself every time. Now, imagine if you were intentional with every one of these. Imagine if you began to really approach these transactions with thought and care. If you were tuned into the Spirit, what might you see and hear? What might Yahweh have you impart to a friend or even a complete stranger?
Yahweh needs us to bring the Gospel to the nations. He needs us to impart His truth to the people around us. This means really being aware and focused during small and large interactions. There is such a thirst and need for righteousness in the world. Rise to the occasion and meet that need this week! Love you all!
