Set Your Wonder on Him
“On the glorious splendor of Your majesty and on Your wondrous works I will meditate.” Psalm 145:5
Start your day with worship to The One who created the world around you. The wonder and peace in nature, the sounds of joy and life in your home, the phenomenal beauty of the sky, the brilliant ideas that led to amazing technology, and so, so much more. See the works of His hands and vision in your every day, and meditate on the personal things He has created for you.
Beyond the signs and wonders, meditate on His character and His desire to connect with you. Who He is, not only what He has done, is worthy of our praise and acknowledgment. Let that be genuine in your expression, and keep your eyes open today for majesty and wonder.
When The Bible encourages us to meditate, let us truly take the prompt to give our attention to where it points. In this verse, we have endless opportunities all day to consider, remember, imagine and focus on what’s personal and what’s universal. This meditation doesn’t have to be in a quiet room, correcting your thoughts all day. Instead, allow Heaven and Earth to find their way together in simple, ongoing appreciation. Thank Yahweh and talk to Him, and I promise that you will see Him in more ways today by doing so!
