Rising
And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. Isaiah 60:3
Recently a valuable lesson was taught during a Sunday service by Steve Parker. Three various demonstrations by men of great faith were presented. There were so many incredible things that caught my attention, and one was their rising.
Each man mentioned (Paul, Moses, Simon, Andrew) was a vessel used for the glory of Yahweh. Though some initially had hard hearts or were reluctant to go, it was their “Yes” that gave all glory to the Father. It wasn’t the fear, or the unbelief but rather the moment of faith, of sight, or willingness that brought the greatest glory to the Father. It wasn’t the hesitation or the trepidation, but it was their worship through obedience that brought exaltation to their God. Their will aligned with His will produced the spark that turned into a flame, that turned into a glorious ascension and rising that pointed, in all ways, to the magnificence of the Father.
In our moments of rising in faith and obedience we radiate with the brightness of HIS glory. These are not opportunities that are far and few between, but rather should be daily, and even multiple times a day. Each choice is an opportunity to rise, each decision is a choice to align. When we do it draws others and is now an opportunity for them. It may be seen by one or a few or it may be seen by a whole nation.
My encouragement today, listen to the message in the I Will series titled Change the World. Let it get in you and resonate within. Let that spark in you ignite into a passion to align with Him and give Him your yes. Be the son that rises and runs to Him the moment you hear His voice. Be the demonstration that leads others to His light.
