To Be Exceptional
“Get up! Stand on your feet! I have appeared to you for this purpose: to appoint you as my servant and witness of what you have seen and what I will show you.” Acts 26:16
I recently heard a phrase that has stuck with me: “To be exceptional, you have to be willing to be exceptional.” Even if we’re introverted or private, we have a desire to be successful in what we care about: family, career, or financial security to name a few practical areas. This phrase reminds us that if we want to be a demonstration, we need to demonstrate. If we want to advance, we need to take steps. Rewards that come without effort are like a lottery falling into our hands, which just as quickly fall out of them. Where do you want to be exceptional? Be willing to stand out in that place, investing energy and attention to it! Be exceptional if you want exceptional results.
Week after week, we’re encouraged to invite someone to The Rock. There are also social media posts available to share. When I consider the wealth of revelation, relationships and growth I’ve experienced at The Rock, I know I am a part of something exceptional. I want others to partake of the same wonderful things that I have, and if I want to be a voice that draws even one to the Kingdom, I need to be willing to speak! So put out the invitation and share the post and voice what goodness you’re experiencing in this place. Let’s see what exceptional things Yahweh will do when we are willing.
