Holy Spirit

The Rock of Central Florida   -

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26

Holy Spirit is so faithful to lead. I am reading a parenting book that I felt Him draw me to. The book is full of wisdom, practical application, and great research. I found myself nodding along to what I was reading, seeing that I was actively doing many of the things that were mentioned. Then the author shared that followers of her research would often say that they wished they’d come across her work when they were younger. I recognized that the familiar feeling that I had in what I’d already read was because Holy Spirit had already been guiding me. While I am not an expert on what I’m learning, I have an advantage by being sensitive to the spirit!

In the natural, we won’t know everything, but with Holy Spirit’s faithful guidance, we can move in confidence and beyond our natural knowledge and experience, because He is the ultimate resource to us. He will give revelation, prepare us, and equip us so that we can successfully navigate the unknown. We may be surprised that even when we are the student, we still have a contribution. And unlike those readers, we do not have to think we’ve missed anything or are late for our current moment or our next opportunity.

Sing over yourself today with Kaley Hoffman’s song, “Holy Spirit, I engage You. I recognize You. I make a draw from the resource of who You are!” You will position yourself to be attentive to His direction and ready for anything!
