Let Your Weakness Be His Strength
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2nd Corinthians 12:9
I know it can be easy to look at weaknesses you may have and then beat yourself up for falling short in those areas. However, I would ask you this. How will Yahweh ever receive the glory if you are strong in every area of your life? He wants to inhabit our weaknesses and shore them up so that His name is made great.
It makes me think of Hurricane Ian that just came through our state. It destroyed property and lives and maybe even caught the unprepared off guard. However, many will use this opportunity to re-build and strengthen the areas (maybe in their home or land) that will make them more prepared next time around.
Storms are often sent to expose weakness. We have been given grace, so don’t hang your head when those weak areas are made known. Shore them up, so Yahweh is glorified and you are made stronger!
