Peace and Thanksgiving
“Let’s the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful!” Colossians 3:15
As you start your day today, remember that when you are positioned in Christ there is peace available for you that is independent of your circumstances! Not only is it available to you, you were called to it by the Father. He set the table for you and peace is your portion! No one can take that peace from you, but you can surely give it away! Consider that as you go about your day today.
In the middle of your circumstances, be thankful! Look what He’s done for you! On your best day, He is with you. When you can’t see past the moment, He reminds you of His plan for you. You have never been without Him! Not even for a second! You have much to be thankful for! Take a moment to consider our ever-present Father – He has never left you, and He never will.
Today, lay claim to the peace that is your portion and be thankful!
