Your Gifts
Your gifts will make room for you.
“A man’s gift makes room for him, and bringeth him before great men.”
As sons or daughters of Yahweh, we have several unseen Spirits or beings working together for our good. For example: Holy Spirit, who is a comforter, guider, teacher and keeper. Faith and works, which are the substance and perfector of our soul. We have been assigned angels to battle for us when needed. And those who have died, in the faith. But the one Being we often overlook is our gift.
I like to compare our gift or gifts to a land developer. It goes into territories that may be undeveloped or appear to be overcrowded and without need for the things that we have to offer. When we are busy doing what we are purposed to do, what the land looks like isn’t our concern. We are to be as faithful as Ruth and gleam from the land and allow our Boaz to notice us. Just as Boaz maneuvered to make place for Ruth to become his wife, so will our gifts cause a place of honor for us.
The body of Christ has many members and each one has a part that is significant to the success of the Kingdom. Your gift represents who you are in the body of Christ, which is the Kingdom. So, there are no unimportant parts. Every part is needed to cause the Kingdom to be whole. Operate in your purpose and allow the gift within you to be stirred and make room for you. You may not see the development as it happens, but the finished product will honor you.
