God’s Faithfulness

“ I will restore to you the years
that the swarming locust has eaten,
the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you.”

Joel 2:25

When reading this scripture, the locusts are often viewed as intruders eating what did not belong to them. Holy Spirit gave me a different perspective. Yahweh sent the locust. They did not overtake the land without his permission. Perhaps they were on assignment to eat those years because they were not fruitful or full of his original intent. As a part of the bigger plan, God multiplies them back to us full of purpose. Scripture says our latter days will be greater than the former, right?

May we, as sons, see God’s faithfulness in every situation. He is working all things for our good, at all times. Let’s trust the process by letting go of what the locust have been sent to devour and make room for Yahweh’s promised increase in every area. By aligning with God’s process our next days will certainly be our best!
