Navigating Using the Horizon
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-7
Sometimes I feel as though when it rains, it pours, but it amazes me the overwhelming peace that comes when the response of your heart is honoring to Yahweh during the situations that come that are out of your control. In those times where you can’t control the situation, know that Yahweh is a God of order and not chaos. At all times, there is a reason to be thankful no matter the situation that you are enduring.
- Remember – Yahweh knows our struggles and our strengths.
- Keep our eyes fixed on Him
- Don’t Worry – Yahweh’s plan is THE PLAN
- Be Thankful – Even if you don’t know “the plan”, be thankful of Yahweh’s plan.
- Call out to Him
- Cultivate Your Faith – Change your mindset to say “ I am ready…I am prepared.” Don’t wait for a rainy day to become a category 5 hurricane. Work on growing your faith daily.
It is all about cultivating your heart and being prepared for what comes your way during any situation. When that happens, you’re prepared to give your “Yes and Amen” without any hesitation.
