Come To or Come In

The Rock of Central Florida   -

When the invitation has come, and when the doors have opened, will you come to or will you come in?

The Father, in His beautiful design, created us to seek out, to discover, and desire relationship with Him. In the Hebrew language, seek is defined as inquiring or searching out carefully, even seeking with delight. The Greek translation for seek is explained as to desire and looking for. There is so much He wants to share with us in the oneness of relationship- the vastness of His creation, His perspective, and the genuine intent that was “In the beginning.” We were sent in to this earth on purpose and created to look for His intent each day. In scripture, it tells us that it is Yahweh’s glory to conceal a matter, but the glory of Kings to search it out (Proverb 25:2). May I remind you- you are called sons, and you are called kings. Therefore, that means YOU, and He is continually inviting us in to seek with delight!

This leads us to the choice ever-present in every day: When we are offered the invitation to come into the new, the unknown, or the next place, to know Yahweh deeper, His vastness and His perspective, when the doors are opened, what will we do? Will we come to the door, but stop short of entering in? Or, will we come recognizing that we have been invited in, seek the Father’s intent and participate, bringing our first and best, and come in with joy? Will we be one who is strength, and be an integral part of the building process? Will we bring tools, keys, and blueprints to the table and seek to utilize what He has given to us as we navigate the new space? The invite grants you access, but it is our responsibility to accept the invitation and come in to the invited place.

My encouragement today, when the invitation comes, and the door opens- come in with zeal! Don’t just come to the door, but come in-all the way, without reservation. Be faithful in each moment and passionately earnest in your inquiries. Seek to know Yahweh God completely, without ceasing. Do not stop, do not stand in the doorway but come in with delight and giving the Father all glory, all honor, and all praise.
